Meadow Way Chapel was started in 1971, after a series of special services for children. These were held in a marquee erected on land in Meadow Way which is now the entrance to Chapel Court. The site of the present Chapel was bought and the first phase of the building was erected, mostly through a self-help scheme by the early members. It was opened on 6th April 1974. Extensions have been added to cater for the various activities of the Church as the membership has grown.

The Church is self-governing but has very close links with other churches. It is evangelical, seeking to share the good news of the Christian faith in the local community. To find out more please see our beliefs and practices.

The Church reaches the community through its services of worship, teaching and activities throughout the week. Detailed information concerning these can be found under activity details.

The Church is made up of ordinary people from all backgrounds. The building is not the Church but simply the place where the people (Church) meet and it is a focal point of community life.

We are pleased to welcome visitors from other churches and anyone who does not regularly attend a church of his/her own. Our aim is to be a caring church, supporting the local community, families and individuals caught up in the inevitable struggle of life.

For further help or information please contact the Elders either by visiting the Chapel, by telephone or by email.
